We are excited to announce we are partnering with Stellar Quines on their latest round of Make Do & Mend
The aim of this collaboration is to offer a unique opportunity for artists to create something amazing that they would not otherwise have the chance to develop. Working together, we are creating a space for artists to bring a new idea to life and challenge themselves as artists.
This round of Make Do & Mend invites artists to submit proposals for ideas responding to the theme of ‘thrive’. In this moment of unprecedented times, this theme moves beyond resilience, and explores what it is to dream, to thrive.
What amazing ideas could you develop on this theme? As an artist, what do you need in your practice to thrive or is there something new you would like to experiment with? Do you have an inquiry or a story to tell exploring transformational moments or a moment to thrive?
There is a maximum fund of £2,000 available per successful proposal (the fund is £9,000 in total). There is also an additional fund of £1,000 to contribute towards access costs across the programme of supported artists. Stellar Quines and Bijli Productions will work as curators for the selected projects, helping each to find the right way of sharing its outcomes.
